"This was the second song I wrote about the whole ex-girlfriend situation that went down right before the band broke up. At this point, there was no real rhyme or reason why things ended the way they did. I was very angry and confused and was left wondering what the hell happened? Eventually, I found out what really happened and then I wrote Blind Sided. You can really tell where my head was at listening to those two songs. It was not a fun time for me. The good news is, that whole time period in my life pushed me to create two kick-ass songs. This song is probably the most personal one I've ever written. It's okay to write about being angry once in a while, just not every single song."
