Blue Luster

New Attitude
(John David Brake) from the album Blue Luster

This was written on the front porch at Ball Avenue, right down the street from campus, where J.D. and James lived in '05. One of the more popular songs early on during the On The Brink years, New Attitude is sort of an anthem for Blue Luster. It is their mission statement to usher in a new wave of pure rock n' roll and put an end to the bland new rock scene. This was J.D.'s first song he wrote when he became the lead singer.

V1
Walking thourgh the city, got no time for pity tonight,
Feel a change a comin', everything is sounding alright,
Found a new solution, to stop the noise pollution for good,
Finally found an answer, the music’s gonna sound like it should.

Pre Chorus
YOU CAN SEE IT IN MY EYES, IT’S TIME YOU REALIZE
CHOURUS

Chorus
THERE’S NEW WAY OF LIFE AND A CHANGE ON THE WAY
BUT ASIDE WHAT YOU KNOW LET IT ALL FADE AWAY
IT’S TIME FOR THE NEW, BUT ITS NOT TOO SOON,
YOU’VE GOT A NEW ATTITUDE

V2
Let's get loud, wild and crazy, something to amaze tonight,
Rise to the occasion, feel the rock persuasion kick in,
You know the times are changing, no use in trying to kill the mood
Come on take me higher, I’m filled with desire and this new attitude.

PRE CHOURUS

CHORUS (x2)

    • Actually Frank Frazetta has paintings on at least two Molly Hatchet albums. Also on the first Wolfmother album.
