This song is so metal, it wouldn't make it past airport security. It’s a tale about an age forgotten with war, death, blood, and a mysterious black killing machine. Death Dealer is based on a Frank Frazetta painting that made him famous in the 70’s and early 80’s. One of the Death Dealer paintings graced the cover of a Molly Hatchet album. This song was inspired one night when James was showing J.D. some of his art work online. Listening to Iron Maiden that night, J.D. realized that this would be an awesome story to tell. Also, he couldn’t believe that Maiden didn’t already write a song about it, which explains the heavy Maiden influence in the song. An interesting side note, is that the intro for this song was taken from an On The Brink song called, "Greed." It appeared on the Somewhere Under Bethel album.
This is the newest song written by Blue Luster and is set to put it on an upcoming album. METAL!!!
